SMEDMORE HOUSE

Smedmore House is one of Dorset’s finest Georgian Manor Houses, available for holidays, weekends, house parties, and of course weddings.  Get me in there, it’s comfortable, quiet and convivial, with a history stretching back to the fourteenth century, probably further than that. 

The house sits there, tranquil and serene, watching over you almost as your wedding day unfolds before it.  It has two acres of walled flower gardens to explore, with orchards and a Mediterranean garden surrounding this Dorset seaside escape.  At the bottom of the main garden is a path through the woods and fields, past sphinxes, urns and obelisks, down to Kimmeridge bay.

From Dorset’s countryside to coast, Smedmore House is a fantastic wedding venue.
