Villa Mottura Fiano del Salento, Italy
A totally underrated grape variety, this Fiano has delicate jasmine and elderflower notes and a really zesty lemon character. Beautifully fresh, balanced and tangy

Caves de Turckheim “Sables et Galets” Pinot Gris, Alsace, France
This is a cracker of a wine. Rich and honeyed Pinot Gris with hints of quince, a subtle smokiness and crystallised ginger. It’s perfect with Asian food and delicious with slightly spicy or aromatic dishes.

Vidal Pinot Noir, Marlborough, New Zealand.
A blend of Pinots from the Wairau and Awatere Valleys, each of which have different characteristics. 10% of this Pinot gets a few months in new French oak which adds a real bit of extra character. Fragrant red berry and floral aromas with notes of cherry and spice. Super soft and silky, this is made for duck.

Le Naturel Tinto, Navarra, Spain
Made completely naturally with minimal intervention, this is predominantly Garnacha from the Navarra region. Bags of fruit with blackberries and violets, silky smooth and with soft tannins but lovely structure from its high altitude origins.

Holden Manz “Vernissage”, Franschhoek, South Africa
A delicious blend of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, “Vernissage” has spent 18 months in older French oak barrels. Beautifully ripe and soft with hints of cassis and tobacco, this is a great value wine from a lovely producer.

Domaine de Durban Muscat de Beaumes de Venise, Rhone Valley, France
A heady bouquet of orange blossom and apricots with white peaches and orange peel on the palate. With great acidity to balance the sweetness, this is a dangerously easy-to-drink dessert wine.
