I have a soft spot for Hale Park, Hampshire and for Sloane and Candida who live there.  A friend of mine lived in the gatehouse at the end of their drive, so we often wandered down the avenue of limes towards the house, envious of the massive, hanging balls of mistletoe high up and unreachable in the trees. 

Now Hale Park house and gardens are a magnet for brides and grooms looking for somewhere special to celebrate their nuptials.  It’s a unique property, even boasting its own chapel at the bottom of the garden, what could be handier than that? The catering, I believe to be first rate, but I would say that as we’re lucky to be on their list of preferred wedding caterers!
