Abbot's Court - Event Venue Dorset

We’re here at Abbots Court, an incredible event venue in Dorset, in the middle of their open day and it’s absolutely pretty as a picture and popping with excitement.  We arrived early to get the full tour ahead of the punters arriving at 3pm, what a stunning set up. 

The guest bedrooms are vast, comfortable and utterly stylish and the reception rooms are colourful spacious and welcoming.  And yet it’s a very cosy vibe, surrounded by woods to give it a very intimate feel, especially as tucked away in those woods are the lovely camping pods for even more of your guests. 

The wedding pavilion situated at the back of the house is a great space, comfortable in its own skin and giving way to exquisite gardens on two sides, with unctuous borders, lavender hedges, pergola, outside bars and a warming mid-October sunshine. 

Inside, later on as the evening closes in, the candlelight flickers through colourful glass jars and complement the flowers, autumnal and majestic, parading down the rustic trestle tables, decked with cream charger plates, gold rimmed champagne saucers and tinted water goblets - a transforming scene. 

All the suppliers are on site - DJs, florists, a magician, bar staff, dress designers, hair and makeup, even a photo booth and of course the delectable Bread and Flowers serving up luscious canapes to one and all.  It’s a party vibe and a perfect place to come and celebrate your wedding day.
