KITCHEN ASSISTANTS

Bread & Flowers is a highly regarded event catering company based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.  With a strong experienced team, we deliver fantastic events for clients that want exceptional flavours served with passion and personality. 

Bread & Flowers cater for events mainly in Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset and London with guests ranging from 20 to 400.  Clients include private and corporate for a wide variety of occasions and venues from woodland marquees to stately homes, as well as the Bread & Flowers base in Salisbury.  Bread & Flowers cater for events including weddings, private dining, store and art gallery functions, birthday celebrations and more.

The opportunity:

At Bread & Flowers, we are looking for Kitchen Assistants to work with our catering team.  The busiest period will be April to September working Tuesdays to Saturdays at our Salisbury base and a range of venues, predominantly in Wiltshire and neighbouring counties. 

You need to have good practical, organisational, planning and logistical skills, an ability to think on your feet and learn quickly.  Attention to detail and taking a pride in your work is essential along with the ability to work in a team.  Own transport is ideal but not essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

This varied role includes, but is not limited to:

• washing up

• general cleaning

• basic food preparation

• planning and packing event kit

• restocking event kit boxes

• keeping the kitchen running smoothly during a job.

• ironing staff uniforms
